Nativity

The 2017 Real Nativity will be held on;

Saturday 2nd December 2017 . 1:30-3pm

Hulcott village green

Visit the 2016 Real Nativity page for pictures from 2016

We call our Nativity a “Real” Nativity because we have real sheep, a real lowing cow, a real donkey and a real baby as Jesus (with the baby’s real parents as Mary and Joseph) we also have real horses for the kings to ride in on as well as real shepherds (they are local sheep farmers) and a real inn keeper (she’s the landlady of the local pub). We’d like to say that Gabriel and the choir are all real angles too! Oh and the narrator really is the vicar!

Roads to the village will be closed to protect the audience and animals from cars – the village also does not have suitable parking that can be used during the wetter months of the year.

Parking will be at The Barn, Hulcott.  This is a 10 minute walk from the village. Please allow plenty of time to park as we will start at 1:30! Blue badge holders, and those with limited mobility will be able to park on the road verge closer to the village.

There will be a Christmas bazaar selling mulled wine, minced pies and home made gifts. There will also be a collection during the service in support of the church – specifically to contribute to the roof fund.

Come and join us and kick off the festive season in a celebration of the Nativity story and the Real reason for Christmas.
